Do Your Research
I can't tell you how exciting it is to make money as a second income or to have it as backup online home business. Anyone would love an extra $100/day. That amounts to an extra $3000/month and thats a very conservative number for internet marketing. Could you use an extra $3000? Most internet marketers who work at it and gain experience are up in the $700/day + range.
However to to build your home business, you need to leverage your education and put it to work. There is a danger. See article -Don't get caught in a loop.
There is alot of great products and the new thing now is aside from just giving you an ebook, many come with video modules. Thats great, because a great deal of people are visual learners and will pick things up alot quicker by seeing how its done. However, sales pages are written with alot of flair. So how do you pick through all the hype and decide if this is a good product?
Dont believe all the testimonials. Alot of them are made up or highly exagerated. Its not to say they dont work, just that the pictures and testemonials can be doctored up. Fortunatly for you, the FTC has enforced changes with this in mind, so there should be a whole lot less.
The other thing to do is check out reviews. Now of course I am not going to beat around the bush with you, I review products and recommend them, and I am honest about it based on what i found in my research on your behalf, or that I have even used the product. Yet this should not keep you from doing your own research. If you just search reviews on xyz product, you will come up with alot of affiliate reviews. Of course most if not all will recommend. Try to weed some of those out and see if there is any actual experiences using the product rather than just describing it. You can also check a website called IMreportcard.com as it gives a report card on these programs from actual users and grades it and gets a rating based on all the comments. You can come back here, but I will leave that up to you.
All in all , its really about due diligence. The best feedback on a product comes from the users themselves. Thats why amazon and ebay are such a popular marketplace, because users provide the feedback.
